The fly (Australia's national bird) with Professor Chris Daniels

21 November 2017

Time: 7:30 pm
Cost: Gold coin donation

This talk will put the microscope on the fly

Summer is nearly here and the flies will quickly follow - whether you are at the beach, the bush, or in your backyard.

But what do we know about them? How many types are there? Why do some bite? Why do they fly in circles in the middle of the room? How do they land and take off upside down? Why are there so many?

You’ll hear what we can do about them and why.

Chris Daniels will entertain and inform you with this delightful insight into Australia’s national bird – the fly!
