Adelaide Shorebirds Festival 2017

04 November 2017 until 30 November 2017

The Adelaide Shorebirds Festival runs throughout November in the Adelaide International Bird Sanctuary, with great events for everyone. The Festival celebrates the return of Adelaide’s amazing migratory shorebirds from their epic journey to the Arctic to breed.

Most festival events are free and include nature-inspired cruises on the Port River, bird spotting workshops, kayaking and snorkelling trips, a guided ranger walk and a film night.

Join the fun and experience the sanctuary’s environmental and recreational values first hand, including coastal dune walks, mangrove boardwalks, fishing, playing at the St Kilda Playground, and viewing some amazing sunsets.
