Onkaparinga River National Park closure

News release
04 December 2017

Onkaparinga River National Park is closed this week to allow for feral animal control measures in the park.

The park is closed and will reopen on Friday 8 December at 5pm. During the closure there will be no public access to the park or facilities such as the campground, climbing area, lookout or walking trails.

National Parks South Australia apologises for the inconvenience but advises that the closure is necessary to ensure public safety and to enable the park’s managers to coordinate a feral animal control program.

The closure does not affect Onkaparinga River Recreation Park, located to the west of Main South Road, which remains open.
