Channel Country Community Workshop
10 May 2017
8.45am - 5pm
What do you love about this country? Where do you want to see it in the next 20 years? And what are the challenges and opportunities?
Join a range of people – Traditional Owners, pastoralists, tourism operators and scientists – to share your views and vision for the Diamantina-Warburton River country.
Hear about the main outcomes of four years work looking at how the country functions – its fish, birds, plants, coolibahs and river flows – and consider the health of the arid river system and its ability to sustain how we use it.
Bring along your ideas to set the future direction for this unique landscape. Ideal for anyone with an interest in the Diamantina-Warburton River country – pastoralists, Traditional Owners, conservation groups, tourism operators, mining and exploration representatives, and government employees.
PLEASE RSVP BY 1 MAY to assist with catering: Henry Mancini Water Project Officer 0423 847 903, 8648 5300 or email@example.com
