Free bird monitoring field surveys - Lower Murray

Are you interested in bird watching? 

Would you like to improve your knowledge of local bird species and contribute to Citizen Science? 

Community members are invited to join us for a series of bird monitoring field surveys. Suitable for those who have attended an introduction course or have some prior experience.

Cost: FREE with catering provided. Loan sets of binoculars and ID guides will be supplied.

This project is supported by the South Australian Murray-Darling Basin Natural Resources Management Board through funding from the Australian Government’s National Landcare Programme.



Field surveys - 8 am to 1 pm

Friday 31 March

Watchalunga Nature Reserve, Finniss 

Sunday 9 April

Kinchina Conservation Park, Monarto 

Sunday 14 May

Lenger Reserve, Mannum
