Natural Resources SA Murray-Darling Basin manages a range of sustainable irrigation projects addressing regional challenges.

We actively seek new partnerships and work closely with industry groups, agribusinesses and farmers to identify opportunities to improve profitable primary production and demonstrate new research and innovative land management techniques.

Sustainable irrigation projects in the region are developed collaboratively, focusing on sustainable use, to protect our natural resources for future generations.

Our projects align with the state’s strategic objectives and economic priorities while achieving the aims of the Regional Natural Resources Management Plan developed by the SAMDB NRM Board in consultation with the community.

Sustainable irrigation programs and projects in the SA Murray-Darling Basin region are made possible by the NRM levy, funding from the state and Federal governments, and through the support of community and industry partnerships.
