Port Gawler mega planting day - 1000 plants

Time: 9:00am to 1:00 pm 

Spread the word and bring your friends to help improve habitat in the Sanctuary!

Please bring:

  • your snacks
  • water bottle
  • sunscreen
  • hat
  • insect repellent
  • closed-toe shoes.

Gloves and any tools required will be supplied, but bring your own if you prefer.

Telescopes will be available so we can do bird spotting after our activities.

Free tea and coffee provided. BBQ thanks to Two Wells Lions Club ($2.50 sausage sizzle, $1 can of drink - please register).

RSVP to FAIBS at faibssa@gmail.com by Tuesday 11 June, advising snag or no snag, so we have an idea of sausages required for catering.

Location

Port Gawler Beach

Head along Port Wakefield Road past the Adelaide International Raceway.
Continue for approximately 8 km.
Turn left onto Port Gawler Rd and travel down this road for about 7.5km.
When you come to a dog leg in the road veer to the right, and follow the road past the recreational off-road vehicle park; the road will end in a car park.
