Plant some possum magic - Newland Head Conservation Park

07 July 2019

Time: 10.00 am - 1.00 pm

Bring the family!

Come and help with a Western Pygmy Possum habitat restoration project.

The Friends of Newland Head Conservation Park need help with planting local native species to improve habitat for this special critter. On the day you can go on a guided walk, learn about the nest box monitoring project from Natural Resources Adelaide and Mt Lofty Ranges Ecologist Dr Elisa Sparrow, and chat with Senior Ranger Seiji Iwao.

You might even like to join the Friends group and get involved in their exciting and valuable projects!

  • This is a family friendly event.
  • Lunch, tools and equipment provided.
  • Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring a water bottle.
