Arid Lands Water Movement Workshop with Geomorphologist Gresley Wakelin-King

27 May 2019

Geomorphologist Dr Gresley Walkelin-King will return to the region later this month to run a one day water movement through the landscape and soil erosion workshop at Kingoonya.

Topics to be discussed include water flow behaviour, landscape evolution, systems and processes, reading landscapes, and on-property mapping and designing works to be fit-to-landcape.

There is also an option to undertake a site visit the following morning to see how soil works can be used in the landscape to manage problem areas.

Please let us know as soon as possible if you are interested in the site visit by contacting Melissa Horgan on 0409 896 402 or at melissa.horgan@sa.gov.au or Lucy Goldspink on 0437 795 792 or at lucy.goldspink@sa.gov.au

The Kingoonya event runs from 9.30am until 5pm on Monday May 27.

An additional workshop is planned for the Gawler Ranges later this year
