Shaping the future of the GAB
A draft Strategic Management Plan (SMP) for the Great Artesian Basin (GAB) is out for consultation, with the Plan to shape the management of the GAB over the next 15 years. The GAB is one of Australia's greatest natural resources and a life source for outback communities who now have the chance to shape the future of the GAB through the Strategic Management Plan consultation.
The SA Arid Lands Natural Resources Management Board encourages all stakeholders to participate in this process, with the Board coordinating a number of events where more information on the draft SMP will be presented and people have the opportunity to provide input.
