Your feedback helps us to ensure the activities in our draft Regional NRM Plan 2019 – 2029 reflect what matters most to you, your community and the environment.
The draft Regional NRM Plan has been built by community, through the region’s Community Action Planning program, and sets the direction for progressing the Board’s vision over the next ten years through a set of goals, including objectives and strategies to achieve these goals. This builds on past achievements and reflects on what the community sees as ‘must do’ priorities for the future.
The draft Regional NRM Plan 2019-29 consists of the following:
The draft Regional Plan 2018-2029 was developed following comprehensive stakeholder and community engagement, and was presented for public consultation between 4th September and 30th October 2017. The feedback receieved from this consultation was collated and reviewed by the Board and key stakeholders and necessary changes were incorporated into the draft Regional NRM Plan 2019-2029.
We would value your input to guide the future direction of natural resource management in Northern and Yorke. The Board will consider your feedback on these issues before the final draft Regional NRM Plan 2019-2029 is submitted to the Minister for Environment and Water for review and adoption by March 2019.
The consultation period will be open until Friday, 26th October 2018.
