Interested in the environment? Want a career that makes a difference? Natural Resources SA Murray-Darling Basin is offering week-long placements to high school students. We can tailor your week-long placement to suit your interests. You will be exposed to a range of jobs and activities in the environmental management field, including:

  • Pest plant control
  • Community engagement
  • Sustainable farming
  • Irrigation
  • Water allocation planning
  • Wetland management
  • Research and monitoring

Please note that we have limited work experience placements and our acceptance of work experience students depends on there being enough appropriate activities during your placement.

On occasion, we are able to take on university students for work placements. Contact an Education Officer to register your interest.
