Exploring science through art workshops

Inspired by the SALA exhibition titled “Water Dance” featuring artworks by Charles Tambiah, and Clint and Liz Frankel. Join us to delve deeper into the water to explore and study the tiny creatures that are the lifeblood of our river and wetlands.
Work with Natural Resources SAMDB staff and local artists to: study water bugs up close and learn about their features, then create your very own water bug from recycled materials and plastic waste.
Learn tips on how to take great macro photos using your camera or ipad.
This event is free, open to school groups and community and is suitable for ages 8 and up.
Multiple sessions will be conducted as follows:
Community members and artists are welcome to drop in at any time throughout the day 9:30am-3:30pm
